Refund Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains when an Advertiser may be eligible for a refund for a marketplace order placed through LinkMart.
Because marketplace orders involve work performed by independent Publishers, refund eligibility depends on the order status and the circumstances of the placement.
2. Before Work Begins
If an order has been paid but the Publisher has not yet started work, an Advertiser may request cancellation and a refund.
LinkMart may review the order status before approving the cancellation.
3. After Work Has Started
Once the Publisher has started working on an order, cancellation is not automatically eligible for a refund simply because the Advertiser changes their mind.
Refund eligibility will depend on factors such as whether the Publisher can still reasonably stop the work and whether significant work has already been completed.
4. Publisher Unable to Complete the Order
An Advertiser may be eligible for a full refund if the Publisher cannot complete the placement as agreed.
Examples may include:
- the Publisher declines or cannot fulfill the order after payment;
- the website becomes unavailable before the placement is completed;
- the Publisher fails to provide the agreed placement within a reasonable period and does not resolve the delay;
- the Publisher is unable to meet a material requirement that was clearly included in the listing or accepted order.
5. Placement Materially Different From the Order
A refund or other resolution may be available if the delivered placement is materially different from the marketplace listing or the agreed order requirements.
Examples may include:
- publication on a different website than the one ordered;
- use of a materially different target URL or anchor text without approval;
- failure to provide the placement type that was purchased;
- a published URL that does not contain the agreed placement.
Minor editorial differences that do not materially affect the agreed placement will not normally qualify for a full refund.
6. Published and Completed Orders
Orders that have been properly published according to the listing and order requirements are generally not refundable.
An Advertiser should review the delivered placement promptly after receiving the published URL.
If there is a material problem with the placement, the Advertiser should contact LinkMart as soon as reasonably possible.
7. SEO Results Are Not Refundable
Refunds are not provided solely because a placement does not produce a particular SEO, ranking, indexing, traffic, conversion or commercial result.
Search engines and third-party SEO metrics operate independently of LinkMart and the Publisher.
8. Removal of a Published Placement
If a published placement is removed shortly after completion without a valid reason, LinkMart may review the circumstances and determine whether a replacement, partial refund or full refund is appropriate.
Refunds are not automatically available where a placement is removed because:
- the Advertiser requested the removal;
- the linked website or content later becomes unlawful, harmful or prohibited;
- the Advertiser materially changes the destination or nature of the linked content;
- removal is reasonably necessary to comply with law, security requirements or third-party rights.
9. Advertiser Errors
Refunds may be denied where the problem was caused primarily by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the Advertiser.
This may include incorrect URLs, anchor text, article details or other placement instructions.
Advertisers should carefully review order details before submitting payment.
10. Prohibited or Unlawful Content
LinkMart or a Publisher may refuse or cancel an order involving unlawful, deceptive, harmful or prohibited content.
Refund eligibility in such cases may depend on whether work has already been performed and whether the Advertiser reasonably disclosed the nature of the content before ordering.
11. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or report a problem with an order, contact support@link-mart.com .
Please include the LinkMart order number and a clear description of the issue.
We may request additional information such as the published URL, screenshots or relevant order details when reviewing the request.
12. Dispute Review
LinkMart may review available marketplace records, listing information, order requirements, published URLs and relevant communications when deciding how to resolve a dispute.
Depending on the circumstances, a resolution may include:
- completion or correction of the placement;
- replacement of the placement;
- a partial refund;
- a full refund;
- denial of the refund request where the order was properly fulfilled.
13. Payment Provider Processing
Approved refunds may be processed through the original payment method or payment provider used for the transaction.
The time required for an approved refund to appear may depend on the payment provider, card issuer or financial institution.
14. Chargebacks
Advertisers are encouraged to contact LinkMart first if there is a problem with an order so that the issue can be reviewed through the marketplace dispute process.
Fraudulent or abusive payment disputes or chargebacks may result in account restrictions or suspension.
15. Changes to This Policy
LinkMart may update this Refund Policy as marketplace features, payment processes or operational requirements change.
The latest version will be published on this page.
