Marketplace Rules

Last updated: September 20, 2026

1. Purpose

These Marketplace Rules are designed to keep LinkMart useful, fair and reliable for both Advertisers and Publishers.

By using the Marketplace, you agree to follow these rules in addition to the LinkMart Terms of Service.

2. Accurate Marketplace Information

Publishers must provide accurate information about websites and placement opportunities.

Information should not intentionally misrepresent:

  • website ownership or control;
  • website niche or language;
  • placement type;
  • price;
  • delivery time;
  • publication conditions;
  • other material details relevant to an order.

3. Website Ownership and Authority

Publishers may only list websites where they have sufficient authority to arrange or approve the placements being offered.

A Publisher must not list a website if they do not have permission to sell or arrange placements on it.

4. Listing Quality

Listings should clearly describe what the Advertiser is purchasing.

Publishers should avoid vague, misleading or contradictory descriptions.

LinkMart may pause or reject listings that appear inaccurate, misleading, incomplete or unsuitable for the Marketplace.

5. Advertiser Requirements

Advertisers must provide accurate and usable order instructions.

This includes supplying the correct target URL, anchor text, article details and other information required for fulfillment.

Advertisers should not intentionally conceal the true nature of the linked website, product, service or campaign.

6. Prohibited Content and Activity

LinkMart may reject, remove or restrict orders, websites, listings or accounts involving unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, harmful or abusive activity.

Examples include:

  • malware, phishing or credential theft;
  • fraudulent financial activity;
  • impersonation or deceptive identity practices;
  • content that unlawfully infringes intellectual property or other third-party rights;
  • unlawful products or services;
  • attempts to compromise, manipulate or abuse LinkMart systems;
  • false or fabricated fulfillment information.

7. Restricted Niches

LinkMart may restrict or prohibit certain categories that create elevated legal, payment, reputational or marketplace risk.

This may include, depending on the circumstances:

  • illegal gambling services;
  • adult or explicit sexual content;
  • unlawful drugs or controlled substances;
  • weapons or prohibited dangerous products;
  • fraudulent financial schemes;
  • malware or hacking services;
  • counterfeit products;
  • other unlawful or high-risk services.

LinkMart may make case-by-case decisions where a category presents unusual legal, compliance or payment risk.

8. Order Acceptance and Fulfillment

Once a Publisher begins working on a paid order, they should make reasonable efforts to fulfill it according to the listing and accepted requirements.

Publishers should promptly communicate material problems that prevent completion.

A Publisher must not mark an order as published unless the agreed placement is genuinely live.

9. Published URLs

Publishers must provide a valid published URL when marking a placement as published.

The published page should contain the agreed placement and should reasonably match the order requirements.

Providing a false, unrelated or inaccessible URL may result in order review and account action.

10. Placement Changes

Material changes to an agreed placement should not be made without reasonable justification or agreement where the change affects the Advertiser's purchase.

This may include changes to the destination URL, anchor text, placement type or publication website.

11. Placement Removal

Publishers should not intentionally remove completed placements shortly after publication without a valid reason.

Valid reasons may include legal requirements, security issues, unlawful content, rights complaints or material changes to the linked destination.

Unexplained or repeated removal of completed placements may result in dispute review or account restrictions.

12. Marketplace Circumvention

Users should not use LinkMart primarily to identify another user and then intentionally bypass the Marketplace for the same transaction in order to avoid applicable LinkMart fees, protections or order records.

LinkMart may restrict accounts that repeatedly abuse the Marketplace in this way.

Normal business relationships outside LinkMart are not automatically prohibited. This rule is intended to prevent deliberate circumvention of transactions introduced and arranged through the Marketplace.

13. Communication and Conduct

Advertisers and Publishers should communicate in a professional manner.

Harassment, threats, fraud, repeated spam or abusive behavior may result in account restrictions.

14. Multiple Accounts and Manipulation

Users must not create or operate accounts for the purpose of manipulating orders, reviews, marketplace activity, payment systems or platform restrictions.

LinkMart may investigate related accounts where abuse or fraud is reasonably suspected.

15. Off-Platform Payments

Orders initiated through LinkMart should use the payment process provided for that order unless LinkMart expressly permits another arrangement.

LinkMart may not be able to provide marketplace support or dispute handling for payments made outside the platform.

16. Disputes

Users should provide truthful and complete information when raising or responding to a dispute.

LinkMart may review order data, listing details, published URLs and relevant account activity when evaluating a dispute.

False dispute claims or fabricated evidence may result in account action.

17. Marketplace Enforcement

Depending on the circumstances, LinkMart may:

  • request corrections;
  • pause or reject a website;
  • pause or remove a listing;
  • cancel or review an order;
  • restrict account functionality;
  • suspend or close an account.

Enforcement decisions may consider the seriousness, frequency and impact of the conduct.

18. Marketplace Review

Approval by LinkMart means a website or listing has been permitted to appear in the Marketplace.

It does not guarantee traffic, SEO performance, search rankings, third-party metrics, permanent publication or commercial results.

19. Changes to These Rules

These Marketplace Rules may be updated as LinkMart develops and new marketplace features, risks or operational requirements arise.

The latest version will be published on this page.
